CAMOUFLAGE-PAINTED LUFTWAFFE M1940 HELMET
German M1940 combat helmet, identifiable by its rolled rim and embossed vent holes. The exterior bears a sprayed-on camouflage paint scheme of light brown and sand brown, carefully skirting a Luftwaffe eagle decal, possibly reapplied, which appears below the left-hand vent hole. The rear interior skirt is heat-stamped '3354', while the right-hand skirt is stamped 'ET64', indicating manufacture by Eisenhuttenwerk AG, Thale Harz. A brown leather eight-fingered liner is affixed within. Chinstrap absent. The interior skirt bears a partial inscription in white paint, likely a soldier's name or other identifying marking. Well-worn with notable scratches to the top of the shell, just good condition. Sold as-is due to questionable decal.
