1939 NUREMBERG RALLY CARDS
An original printer's proof set of cards created to commemorate the 1939 Nuremberg rally. The 19.5 in x 21.5 in. card stock sheet features three vibrant rows of five different cards (15 total), each 4 in. x 5.5 in. Scenes on the cards include the layout of the rally area at Nuremberg, German soldiers standing in front of a Nazi Eagle, a Hitler youth hoisting a Nazi Flag, a Nazi Flag in front of a castle, and finally Nazi flags in front of the Reichstag. These cards were never circulated nor cut from the original sheet as the 1939 Nuremberg Rally was canceled due to the outbreak of the war. The back of the stock sheet features an unknown printed painting with the signature of Hungarian artist Hans Bogojevic, likely imposed due to paper shortages so as not to waste the paper. Small tear to the right side affecting two cards, but else fine condition.
