HIROSHIMA HEAT-WARPED COINS
Very rare lot of three melted coins recovered from the immediate blast zone at Hiroshima. Each made of bronze, and roughly 1 in. (diameter), each damaged by the intense heat generated by the 15-kiloton atomic bomb 'Little Boy' dropped from the Enola Gay on Aug. 6, 1945. All are expectedly worn given the severity of the blast, one has a small amount of loss from melting, else fine condition. From our long-time Japanese consignor of Hiroshima relics of indisputable reputation.
