This Jewelry catalog before us tells the story of jewelry from the years 1780-1980. We have chosen Jewelry which tells the story of the period that it represents. The catalog is more or less arranged in chronological order beginning with the Georgian era and ending with modern times. The items have been sourced throughout the country and have been selected based on quality and what we thought our clients would be interested in seeing. Towards the end of the catalog is a collection of gold and silver objects de vertu. Most of these items are Russian and come from an important collection in Tel Aviv. The catalog was curated with love and attention and it is our hope that our clients will take pleasure in viewing it.. A Collection of Georgian Yellow Gold Momento Mori Jewelry
consisting of one yellow gold ring with white enamel accents and braided hair under a faceted glass window 1.5 grams size 8, together with one 14K yellow gold brooch containing 12 round mixed cut almandite garnets and braided hair under a faceted glass window 4.6 grams circa 1836, together with a 14K yellow gold pendant with a border of seed pearls and braided hair under a glass cabochon window 6.5 grams, together with a pair of 14K yellow gold brooches with seed pearl halos surrounding braided hair under a faceted glass window circa 1822 7.0 grams total.
Condition: The overall condition of the group is very good. All of the stones are present and securely set. None of the braided hair is fraying or coming undone.
