Antique European 18K Gold Ring Set w/ Diamonds & Sapphires
Antique European (from circa 1890) 18K Yellow Gold (acid tested by the auction house) Ring alternately set in its center and walls with beautiful Swiss Cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.4 Carats (SI-VS/G-H) and with fine Sapphires in a rich shade weighing a total of approximately 1.2 Carats. The diamonds only are set on a thin layer of silver in the spirit of the period (Silver Topped). The ring is adorned with handcrafted engraving along the hoop and on its walls, and is well-preserved for its age.
