A monthly illustrated magazine "SSSR na stroyke" [USSR in Construction]. No. 2 for February 1934.One of the rarest and most interesting issues of the magazine. This issue of the magazine was designed by artists El and Es Lissitzky. Dedicated to four Soviet victories. "A Tale of Four Bolshevik Victories":1. EPRON (Special Purpose Underwater Expedition).2. Motor rally Moscow - Kara-Kum - Moscow.3. Pamir expedition.4. Flight of the stratospheric balloon "USSR".The journal "USSR in Construction" was published monthly, from December 1929 to 1949 inclusive, in four languages. The publication was aimed at the intellectuals and the party elite, as well as Western readers. The design of the magazine uses the avant-garde style developed in the 10s and 20s by Malevich, Tatlin and Lissitzky.
