AN ANTIQUE RUSSIAN SILVER BOWL LATE 19TH C
An antique Russian silver bowl raised on four circular legs. The surface of the bowl is covered with small indentations that refract light beautifully. The center inset with a coin depicting the profile of Empress Maria Fyodorovna. On the reverse side of the coin there is an image of an antique figure of the patroness of sciences and an inscription in Cyrillic: "Za blagonraviye i uspehi v naukah" [For good manners and successes in sciences]. 84 silver standard, Russian hallmarks on the bottom. Weight: 20 oz., 566 g.
