A DAUM NANCY CAMEO GLASS VASE, CIRCA 1900
Daum Nancy acid-etched and frosted cameo glass baluster vase with grapes decoration. Signed: Daum Nancy with the Cross of Lorraine in cameo relief. Daum is a famous crystal studio based in Nancy, France, founded in 1878 by Jean Daum (1825–1885). During the Art Nouveau period, the company developed under the leadership of his sons, Auguste Daum (1853-1909) and Antonin Daum (1864-1931).
