AN ANTIQUE SITZENDORF PORCELAIN FIGURINE GRENADIER
A hand-painted German porcelain soldier figurine of a Grenadier of Napoleon Great Army in a blue uniform with a rifle mounted on a rectangular pedestal. Made and marked by the Sitzendorf porcelain factory in Germany, founded by Georg Heinrich Macheleidt in 1760, and in 1884 began mass-produced figurines under the leadership of the Voight brothers, who created a technology for the production of the famous porcelain lace.
