LOT EIGHT GERMAN FAIRING PORCELAIN PIG FIGURINES
A lot of eight Victorian era collectible German novelty fairing porcelain pig figurines including pigs in hiding in the purses scenes. They were prizes or trinkets when the large fairs were in their heyday. All figurines are painted in the same green and peachy pink colors for the pigs and adorned with gilding or red accents. Several items are titled with engraving, Home Sweet Home. Several stamped, Made in Germany, and numbered on the bottom. Circa: 1850s-1900s. German porcelain figurines and decor collectibles.
Dimensions: largest item: 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" in. Smallest item: 2" x 3" x 2 1/2" in. All measurements are approximate.
