BRITISH 14 PHOTOS BY DAVID HAMILTON SIGNED POSTER
A vintage collection of fourteen color photographs and a signed poster by David Hamilton (British, 1933-2016). The lot also includes a poster signed by the photographer with a sepia photo from the series, Dreams of Young Girls. The original color photo is from the issue of Konkret magazine whose cover precedes, Love and Violence. The poster is framed. David Hamilton was a British photographer and film director best known for his photography of young women and girls, mostly in the nude. His signature soft focus style was called the Hamilton Blur, which was erroneously thought to be achieved by smearing Vaseline on the lens of his camera. It was not created that way.
