ORIGINAL 1967 AMERICAN SS LINES TRAVEL POSTER
An original vintage American cruise travel silkscreen poster, Sail with The Unrushables SS United States to Europe. Circa: 1967s. This poster is part of a stylish, Mid century modern ad campaign for the S.S. United States; it presented the Unrushables, a lifestyle campaign touting how stepping out of the frantic pace of modern life into the slower, elegant, romantic, peaceful, and decadent way of life on board this ship was so wonderful. The phrase along with this same image (and many others) was also used in magazine ads. They all featured hip, attractive young couples in contemporary fashions.
