Rainer Gross, born in 1951, German-American artist. Printer's proof lithograph, ca. 1979. The artwork titled Louisville Slugger depicts a young African-American boy in a baseball uniform standing in the middle of a living room with a sketch of a Renaissance painting shining through the image.
