Alexandra Yakusheva, Russian, 1900 to 1986, color pencil on paper portrait of pioneer Lyona Vaskein. Signed and inscribed upper right and on verso. Numbered 36. Circa the 1930s. Alexandra Ivanovna Yakusheva is a Soviet painter and graphic artist, who is known for her genre paintings, portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. Studied at VKhuTEMAS and then at VKhuTEIN as a student of S. Gerasimov, A. Drevin, R. Falk. Participated in exhibitions since 1928. Russian Soviet Graphic Art Collectibles.
