ANTIQUE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ICON CHRIST PANTOCRATOR
An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon of Christ Pantocrator, the Lord Almighty, or Savior Jesus Christ. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon feature an embossed metal riza, oklad. Inscribed in the Cyrillic lower to the center. Circa: 19th century. The icon of Jesus Christ the Almighty is one of the central images of the Christian iconography of the Savior. Presented in a relief gilt frame with a grapes pattern.
