VOLLARD SUITE STYLE NUDE ETCHING BY PABLO PICASSO
Pablo Picasso, Spanish, 1881 to 1973, etching on paper in the manner of The Vollard Suite, a set of 100 etchings in the neoclassical style by the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, produced from 1930 to 1937. Inscribed in the plate lower left. Framed. Picasso, regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.
