Boris Vassiloff, Russian, American, 1901 to 2000, mixed media painting on newsprint depicting an abstract landscape. Signed lower right. Framed. Inscribed in the print lower to the center. Provenance: William J. Jenack Auctioneers, NY, United States, November 10, 2017, lot 282. Boris Vassiloff was a Russian Soviet and American artist, known for Architecture, still life, mural. Vassiloff immigrated to the United States in 1952. He settled in the small village of Sea Cliff, NY on Long Island. Vassiloffs paintings are in numerous private and public collections including U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY and the Museum of Dance in France. One of a kind artwork.
