George Barrie, two original 1893 photoengravings after the paintings titled The Death of Dante by Otto Friedrich, and The Consultation by Carl Probst. All exhibited at the Worlds Columbian Exposition, entitled in pencil and sealed with the impressed stamps, copyrighted in the plates. From 1893 to 1895 the Philadelphia printer and publisher, George Barrie, was at work upon a large and lavish series of original engravings detailing exhibits of the fine art from participating countries at the exposition.
