ANTIQUE BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN GUANYIN FIGURES
A pair of antique ca. 1900 Chinese Qing dynasty Dehua porcelain figurines. The items represent Guanyin, a Chinese Bodhisattva associated with compassion. The goddess is depicted with a vase in her hands, accompanied by Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, who is holding the Peach of Immortality. Hieroglyphical hallmarks on the bottom. Dehua porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine, is a type of white Chinese porcelain made at Dehua in the Fujian province. Collectible Chinese Porcelain Decor, Oriental Buddhist Art.
Dimensions: Average H 7 7/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
