TANG DYNASTY MANNER SANCAI GLAZED POTTERY CAMEL
A large Chinese Tang Dynasty manner Sancai glazed pottery figure of a camel. A glazed pottery figure of a Bactrian camel depicted standing foursquare above a conforming base, the long neck craning back to hold the head high and mouth agape. The glaze predominately deep amber, with cream a the head and neck, green to the saddle blanket. Unmarked. Mounted on a rectangular shaped base. Circa: the first half of the 20th century to Mid 20th century. The current lot has not been tested for accurate dating or provenance.
