RUSSIAN PASTEL PAINTING BY ALEXIS PAUL ARAPOFF
Pastel painting on paper by Prince Alexis Paul Arapoff, 1904 to 1948, a Russian painter of noble descent. The artwork depicts a picnic scene. Ca. 1920-1930s. Signed by the artist in the lower right. White mat, Golden frame. Arapoff emigrated to France in 1923, where he belonged to the École de Paris, and then to Boston, Massachusetts in 1930. Collectible Antique Figurative Graphic Art.
Dimensions: Size: Frame 21 x 24 1/2 in. Image 14 x 17 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
