RUSSIAN UKRAINIAN PAINTING BY NIKOLAY GLUSHCHENKO
An oil on canvas painting by Nikolay Glushchenko, 1901 to 1977, a Russian and Ukrainian artist. The artwork depicts a vase of lilac flowers. Signed by the artist and dated 1961 in the lower right. Titled Ukrainian Still Life on the backside. A cut-out from a 1962 catalog with information about the artist in Ukrainian is attached to the backside. Provenance: 1962 exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the creative activity of Nikolai Gluschenko. The Ukrainian Still Life painting, 100 x 80 cm, is listed in the illustrated catalog among the other paintings represented in the exhibition. The catalog is not included in the lot.
