Sergei Luchishkin, Russian, Soviet era, 1902 to 1989, an oil painting on canvas depicting We are The Lenins Nation, diptych, left side,1968 to 1971. Signed and dated, lower left. Additionally inscribed, titled, and dated, on the backside. Provenance: Gold Coast Estate Auction, 02.05.2023, lot 349.
Sergei Luchishkin was a Soviet painter and theater stage designer. The artistic method in Luchishkins work comes from Constructivism and Expressionism. The best easel works of the master are distinguished by scenic and playful and, at the same time, quite dramatic content. One of a kind artwork.
