ENGLISH ROYAL DOULTON PORCELAIN FIGURINES OF LADIES
A pair of English Royal Doulton hand enameled polychrome glazed porcelain figurines. The figurines depict young ladies with fans in beautiful floral dresses seated waiting at the dance. The first figurine is marked with a Royal Doulton manufacturer mark, made in England, titled Victoria, numbered H.N. 2471, and copyright Doulton and Co Limited 1972, on the bottom. The second figurine is marked with a Royal Doulton manufacturer mark, made in England, titled, Invitation, numbered H.N. 2170, corp. 1955, Doulton and Co Limited, numbered 878033, 34543, 7306, 444 55, on the underside. Royal Doulton is a manufacturer of ceramic tableware and ceramics from the United Kingdom. Since 1815, the company has been one of the top ten manufacturers in the United Kingdom.
