Rufino Tamayo, Mexican, American, 1899 to 1991, color print on paper, Serrano Landscape. Signed and dated 61 in the print, upper left. Marked and titled in the print, Paisaje Serrano Ano 1961 Oleo Sobre tela Coleccion Del Autor, Mexico D. F., Serrano Landscape Year 1961 Oil On Canvas Collection Of The Author, Mexico D. F., on the backside. Completed with an original certificate, Art Connaisseurs Guild, Edition 1967 Inba Mexico, stamped with an impressed seal 2005. lower right. Rufino del Carmen Arellanes Tamayo was a Mexican painter of Zapotec heritage, born in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico. Tamayo was active in the mid 20th century in Mexico and New York, painting figurative abstraction with surrealist influences. Mexican and American Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
