PAIR BRITISH 19TH C ENGRAVINGS BY THOMAS SHEPHERD
A pair of antique 19th century engravings by British artist Thomas Hosmer Shepherd. The engravings depict famous places in Edinburgh, Scotland. Under one engraving is the text Ainslie Palace, Edinburgh. The second is texted The West Bow, from the Lawn Market, Edinburgh. Both are signed: Drawn by Tho. H. Shepherd. Comes in original wooden frames. Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, 1792 to 1864, was a British topographical watercolor artist well known for his architectural paintings.
