SAYED HAIDER RAZA INDIAN ABSTRACT ACRYLIC PAINTING
Acrylic on canvas painting by Sayed Haider Raza, or S.H. Raza, 1922 to 2016, an Indian artist based in France, member of the Bombay Progressive Artists Group. The artwork is an abstract geometrical composition. Razas abstractions were based on the concept of Bindu, a point or the source of energy, inspired by the Indian culture and religions. Signed by the artist and dated 2014 in the lower right. Titled Prakriti on the backside. Prakriti is a key concept in Hinduism which refers to the original or natural form or condition of anything.
