ANTIQUE 19TH C RUSSIAN ICON OF SAINT HEALERS
An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon, titled The legend of which saints were given which healing graces from God. The piece represents four rows of saints with images of the Mother of God and the Jesus Child in various iconography. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board with gilding. Inscriptions in Church Slavonic. German import stamp on the backside.
