RUSSIAN 84 SILVER PETER THE GREAT PERFUME BOTTLE
A Russian 84 silver and enamel perfume bottle with a stopper. The exterior is covered with a cobalt blue enamel made in the Guilloche technique and adorned with an enameled portrait of Peter The Great on the front and a relief Imperial double headed on the backside. Embossed silver bows and wreaths near the neck. The stopper is adorned with a cabochon on the top. Peter the Great, Russian, 1672 to 1725, was a monarch of the Tsardom of Russia and later the Russian Empire. Under his reign, Russia was modernised and grew into a European power. Weight: 62 g.
