PRINT ON PLASTIC BOARD AFTER HENRY KHUDIAKOV
A reproduction print on plastic board after the original colorful, highly textured artwork by Henry Khudiakov. The central motif is a stylized human figure, seemingly wearing a suit, but rendered in a fragmented and abstract way. This figure is surrounded by and partially integrated with a complex, swirling background. The background consists of a multitude of shapes and linear patterns in a dazzling array of bright colors, including reds, yellows, greens, blues, purples, and brown. There is heavy use of glitter or a similar material to add texture and shimmer. The style is highly expressive and suggests a connection to outsider art or art brut due to its raw energy and lack of adherence to traditional artistic conventions. A signature and the date 2014 are visible in the lower right corner. Hand signed on the backside with Paramour. Henry Khudiakov, Russia, 1930 to 2019, was a Russian American painter and poet. He completed high school in Moscow in 1948 and graduated from Leningrad University with a degree in Philology in 1959. Modern Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
