ANTIQUE FRENCH AUTOMATON PICTURE CLOCK ON MARBLE PLINTH
An antique French automaton picture clock, featuring a hand-painted scene of 18th-century French courtly lovers set amidst a classical landscape with ruins, signed by the artist at the upper right. The romantic tableau is framed in brass and incorporates a clock dial alongside animated figures. The brass-mounted scene is raised on a marble plinth, and the case is marked Garden Party and Fabr.
