A Bezalel Silver Salt Cellar, Jerusalem, Circa, 1910

This is a handmade sterling silver piece to hold salt for the dining room table. The level of craftsmanship in the filigree wire work is of the highest quality, and at top, inside a Star of David, it states "Bezalel Jerusalem".

This style of hand engraved Bezalel labeling, where the Hebrew letters are placed in an unusual, artistic fashion, is typically found on Bezalel silver objects dating to the 1910's.
