Teshuva by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Vorhand Rabbi of Mako to the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Zilberstein Rabbi of Veitzen. Mako 1913

Starts by thanking him on receipt of his famous sefer 'Masey Lemelech'

He was asked a question by the Gabaim of the Talmud Torah in Makove about accepting the children  of neologs. Obviously their parents need to guarantee they won't influence the orthodox kids & will wear Payos.

Formerly Av Beth Din of Papa, Rabbi Moshe Vorhand was the author of Ohel Moshe and Atereth Moshe. He founded a Chassidic dynasty that is today centered in Kiryat Ata and headed by Grand Rabbi Shimon Lemberger.

Rabbi Moshe Vorhand's grandson, Rabbi Zev Tzvi Vorhand (1913-2000), was well known on the Upper West Side of Manhattan as the Prager Rov and founder of Vorhand's Shtiebel.

Letters of him are particularly scarce.

On official letterhead. 2 sides 22.4 X 14.4 Cm.
