 Rabbi Avraham Halevi Litch Rosenbaum of Pressburg. He was born in Pressburg in 1802, One of the Leading Disciples of Maran the "Chatam Sofer", Rabbi Mordche Banet of Nikolsburg & Rabbi Ahron Suditz of Szerdahely. 


He was Rosh Yeshiva in Nitra & later returned to Pressburg where he served as Dayan for over twenty years, one of the founders of the Talmud Torah Yesodei Hatorah until his passing in 1877.


His son Rabbi Ezriel  Halevi Litsch-Rosenbaum (d. 1906)  studied in the yeshivah of Maran the Ksav Sofer and by Harav Yechezkel Banet, Av Beis Din of Nitra. As an admired figure and orator in Pressburg, he reaped both wealth and honor and refused to accept payment from his community. Some of his writings were published in Nachalas Ezriel–Shu”t v’Drashos.

Stamp of his grandson Rabbi Yehudah Halevi Litsch-Rosenbaum. Like his father he studied under Maran the Ksav Sofer, he was a great Talmid Chacham & Parnes of the Tzelim community.
