The end of Megillas Esther features 4 impressive woodcut illustrations portraying scenes from the megillah. The end of Megillas Eichah features a drawing of people sitting on the floor of a synagogue and reading Eichah or Kinos. This is a new illustration that does not appear in the Venice edition.
The Alshich’s commentary and writings were universally accepted by Jewish congregations around the world. They are acclaimed as fundamental to the study of Tanach and beloved for the ethics and lessons drawn from the teachings of the prophets.
