"The painting depicts a sensual scene, an allegory of erotic impulses. The two characters, barely veiled by a curtain, completely naked, embody eroticism especially expressed by Satyr eager (perhaps Pan). His face has a provocative flush of libido while Nymph, let her body do not portray the gestural Satyr advances, even if turns his gaze elsewhere. The Atmosphere is sensual and erotic and leads us to understand the representation as an allegory of carnal pleasures, with great realistic naturalness. The seemingly simple pictorial composition highlights the solar vision of the naked bodies, emanating erotic and sensuous fullness.
The painter manages to capture: the color- light that fills the entire composition and the setting of the figures along a diagonal, given by complex gestures of the arms and bodies.
All this gives rise to a painting that apparently is static but carries inherent sensuality and arouses a dialectical conception of carnal love".
