Early well-carved rose quartz large figa hand pendant in a marked 18K gold setting. Approx 2.75" L. Per the web, The figa hand, also known as the mano figa, is a gesture that involves placing the thumb between the pointer and middle fingers. It has been used as a symbol in many cultures for nearly 8,000 years and can have multiple meanings such as in Brazil and Peru, the figa is a symbol of good luck. In some cultures, it's also worn as an incantation to the goddess for fertility and virility.
