A FINE PAIR OF OTTOMAN KUBUR PISTOLS WITH HOLSTER
A fine, large pair of flintlock pistols with walnut stocks profusely carved in baroque motifs and mounted in silver with elaborately embellished buttcaps, escutcheons and barrel bands. The quality en suite locks with spurious European marks, the long barrels octagonal at the breech. In their fine leather double holster, extensively and densely embroidered in silver wire, with integral covered cartridge case. Retains its original shoulder and waist straps. C. 1750. Light wear. Each pistol overall length 53.6 cm / 21". Condition II
