A RARE GEORGIAN KHANJALI DAGGER
A very rare form, with ergonomic, green-stained grips retained by iron bosses, the lightly-curved, double-edged, handwrought blade with central fuller and inlaid gold inscription. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with large profiled, engraved and nielloed mounts set with a red glass gem. First half of the 19th century. Wear and losses. Overall length 39cm. Condition IV
