Bezalel, Jerusalem. ”Marvadia” workshop rug, signed, 1920–1931. Handmade. A large wool rug featuring floral and botanical motifs, produced by the ”Marvadia” workshop of the Bezalel school. The center of the rug displays botanical elements and geometric lines. The double border surrounding the rug is patterned with various types of flowers set against a white background. Signed along the edge: ”Marvadia Jerusalem.” Dimensions: 240 x 130 cm.
