Letter from Neil Armstrong's wife
Beautiful letter typewritten and signed by Jan Armstrong, on letterhead with NASA National Aeronautics and Space Administration logo - Washington D.C. 20546 - dated October 18, 1969. Armstrong's wife thanks Marina Chaliapine Freddi, head of Public Relations for the Compagnia Italiana Grandi Alberghi, for the precious and special assistance reserved to ladies Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin, during their stay at the Grand Hotel in Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando in Rome. The three wives of the astronauts visited Rome accompanied by their famous husbands and astronauts. The letter is complete with the original envelope. Inside we also find a card with the Apollo 11 mission logo and the printed signatures of Neil Armstrong, Edwin E.Aldrin, Michael Collins. Sheet measures cm. 20.5x27 In excellent condition.
