Original World War II German A4 (V-2) Rocket Flight #106 June 20, 1944
This Original and very rare 2 page double sided document is from the German Top Secret Peenemunde (Karlshagen) Rocket Research Center on V-2 Rocket Test #106 launched on June 20th 1944 from Prufstand (Test Stand) VII and considered the highest altitude ever achieved by a V-2 Rocket during WWII and a German success. This item is from World War II and the effort to build Hitler’s Super Weapon, the A-4 Missile, (known in the Western World as the V-2 Rocket). This original technical report is dated June 27th 1944 and bearing the official German Stamp dated June 29th. This was just days after the launch and this report details the issues of this launch including electronic issues and overheating problems. On the first cover page you can see the red stamp at the top 'Greheime Kommandosache' that translates into “Secret Command”. This report has been signed by a German Rocket Engineer at the end of the fourth page. These are original documents all of the test and with pencil numbers and notes along with the signatures are original! THESE ARE NOT COPIES!. These pages are in amazing condition with staple holes in the top left of both pages and minor wear. There are two double sided page sheets included in this lot.
