A book on Jewish customs in the 18th century. Includes the order of Mitzvot in Hebrew, as well as articles by the Sages (חז"ל) in Hebrew etc… and 18 engravings with Jewish customs such as Tefilin, Mezuzah, slaughtering, Brit Mila, Pidyon Haben, Wedding, Halitzah, Burial… Alongside them, explanations and related Dinim in Hebrew.
Bodenschatz, born in Bavaria, was a Protestant theologian who in this work, gave an unprejudiced description of contemporary Jewish customs.
