The Rabbi and the doer of salvation is Rabbi Yehuda Lichtenstein (L.S.) Av Beit Din of Batlahan, a letter in his holy handwriting and signature, and another signature with his mother's name. Probably to Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger.
מכתב בכתב יד קודשו וחתימתו של הגאון הצדיק הרה"ק רבי יהודה ל"ש(לכטנשטיין) אב"ד בעטלאהן, אחיינו של הגה"ק רבי הלל מקאלאמייא. כנראה נשלח לשאר בשרו הגאון רבי עקיבא יוסף שלזינגר.
17 lines in his handwriting and 2 signatures, in one of which he also signs in his mother's name.
כרטיס דואר קטן. 5.5/13 ס"מ. קרע קטן באחת הקצוות. מצב טוב מאוד.
Small postcard. 5.5 / 13 cm. small tear at one end. Very good condition.
הרה"ק רבי יהודה ליכטנשטיין(ל"ש) אב"ד בעטלאהן [תרט"ו – תרפ"ו] תלמיד דודו הגאון הקדוש רבי הלל מקאלאמייא וכן תלמידם של האדמו"רים רבי מנחם מנדל פאנעט מדעש והייטב לב מסיגעט. נודע כקדוש עליון ופועל ישועות. האדמו"ר הרה"ק ה'אהבת ישראל' מוויז'ניץ החזיק את עצמו לחסידו והיה נוסע אליו. פעם אחת בתוך שבעת ימי המשתה בבית הרה"ק ה'אהבת ישראל' מויז'ניץ, ביקש לנסוע אליו, ובמשך כל הנסיעה ישב ה'אהבת ישראל' בדביקות, כשהוא קורא מספר פעמים: "עטץ ווייסט וואו מען פארט? צום בעטלאהנע רבי'ן".
