The page after the title page contains a foreword by Harav Chaim Meir Yechiel Shapira, "the Saraf of Mogelnitza, " who was the grandson of the author.
Good-very good condition. Early, worn binding. The front part is detached. Spotting. Very few tears, mostly in the margins. A few tiny wormholes.

בדף אחרי השער הקדמת נכד המחבר הרה"ק רבי חיים מאיר יחיאל שפירא "השרף ממוגלניצא".
מצב טוב – טוב מאוד. כריכה עתיקה בלויה, חלקה הקדמי מנותק. כתמים. מעט מאוד קרעים בעיקר בשוליים ומעט נקבי עש זעירים.
