Courier service in Israel:
In Bne Brak, courier delivery: 30 Shekels.
Regular courier service in Israel is a flat rate for each package measuring up to 40 X 40 X 40
(cm) and weighing less than 10 Kg: 60 Shekels.
For packages exceeding the above measurements/weight the price is 120 Shekels, but
limitations apply. Please contact the auction house.
International courier services prices depend on the size and weight of the package. There is
a fast express delivery via DHL which in most cases shall arrive within 2-3 days. Another
option is via ekopost with the Israeli postal service for packages up to 2KG. Delivery time is
usually between 1.5-2 weeks.

In the original: Part I: 2, 3 - 222 pages; The first title page is missing here! Part B: 2, 3 - 66, 65 - 165, 1 page; This copy ends on page 162 and is missing the last 4 pages.
Antique cover, partially damaged. stains. Pastes and tears with damage to the text mainly on the first and last pages. In general, apart from the first 11 pages and the last 6 pages which are damaged, good condition.

ספר 'מגני ארץ' שולחן ערוך אורח חיים ב"ח. העותק של בעל המופת הצדיק רבי זעליג תרשיש עם 36 הגהות והרבה תיקונים בכתב ידו.
זיטומיר, תרט"ו 1855. בדפוס השותפים רבי חנינא ליפא ורבי יהושע העשיל שפירא נכדי הרב מסלאוויטא.
במקור: ח"א: 2, ג' - רכ"ב דף; אצלנו חסר שער ראשון! ח"ב: 2, ג' - ס"ו, ס"ה - קס"ה, 1 דף; עותק זה מסתיים בדף קס"ב וחסר 4 דפים אחרונים. 36.5 ס"מ. 2 שערים לח"ב. מעט מאותיות השערים בדיו אדום.
מאחורי שער שני של ח"ב רישום: "זה ספר מגני ארץ שייך להרב הג' ר"ב ישיעה זעליג תרשיש ס"ג[?]".
כריכה עתיקה, פגועה בחלקה. כתמים. הדבקות וקרעים עם פגיעות בטקסט בעיקר בדפים ראשונים ואחרונים. באופן כללי מלבד 11 דפים ראשונים ו - 6 דפים אחרונים שהם פגועים, מצב טוב.
הצדיק המופלא רבי יהושע זעליג תרשיש סג"ל [תרכ"ב - ת"ש] גאון וצדיק מופלא. גיסו הסבא מנובהרדוק בחר בו כחתן לאחותו היתומה, והוא כיהן בתקופה הראשונה לאחר נישואיו כרבה של קורטביאן על מקומו של חמיו כתשע שנים וכן כיהן כרב במספר מקומות נוספים. בשנת תר"נ נשלח ביוזמת גיסו ע"י הגאון רבי יצחק אלחנן ספקטור לייסד ישיבה בעיר ברדיטשוב. בשלב מסוים החליט לעזוב את הרבנות ולפרוש מענייני העולם הזה ויגע בלימוד התורה ועבודת השם בסלבודקא וקלם. נודע בתפילותיו וכבעל מופת והיה מתבודד כשהוא עטור בטלית ותפילין. בשנת תרצ"ז עלה לארץ הקודש. ספרו: 'עין תרשיש'.
