Rare Pilon Brevete Thumb Fired Rifle NOFFL
MFG/IMPORTER: Pilon Brevete SGDG MODEL: Thumb fired rifle. SERIAL: NSN CALIBER/GAUGE: 12 mm CONDITION: Action works well. SIZE: 21" bbl. NOTES: Though not well known, alternative trigger designs utilizing the thumb, rather than the index finger date back to the mid 19th century and some specialty rifles even use this trigger mechanism today. This French model is rare, and only a few examples are known. In house shipping available. This item was manufactured before 1898. No FFL or background check required. Pickup is Tuesday, Oct. 29 from Noon to 7 pm at our offices in Carroll, OH 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We charge a $5/lot fee if you pick up on an alternate day.
