NAPOLEONIC ERA PRINT PUBLISHED - LONDON 1816
Original hand colored print Charles XIV John, Crown Prince of Sweden whose original name was Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte. King of Sweden and Norway 1818-1844. Active in several Napoleonic campaigns from 1805 - 1809. Publication information is at the bottom of the print; "London, Published by Richard Evans, Whites Row, Spitalfields 1816". Above that is the title, "Bernadotte Crown Prince of Sweden". Measures 15.25" x 9.5". Some wear along the bottom and a border like discoloration where there was previously a framing mat resting on the print. The print was dry mounted to a cardboard backing. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday Oct. 20 from 10 am to 1 pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
