Single owner 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible in
VIN: 74AM8306A33 Passed from father to son but we'll consider it single owner since it has been in this same family, and same garage, for its lifetime. We do have the original bill of sale and purchase paperwork and will provide a signed letter of provenance and history. Meticulously and consistently maintained for its entire lifetime. Never driven in cold weather or in the rain. Always kept in the garage. Excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition throughout. Color is arctic white (M in the VIN code). Power top working well. Power windows working. Metal straight and good. Look at the photos, you will see the extremely nice condition and quality of this vehicle. Here are any flaws that we know of - the car was rear ended or bumped at 5 mph or less many years ago. The quarter panel and bumper etc were professionally repaired and repainted. The painter left a couple of tape lines which we show in the photos. There are two small paint bubble spots in front and behind the rear driver side wheel well, I just spotted those and added photos in the smugmug. The auto window drop DOES work when the top is up and the back doors are opened. The vacuum pump lock system works both driver's side locks, the passenger side locks try to go up but don't go up. There are a couple of dents to the chrome passenger side skirt. There is one paint chip on the passenger side where the suicide doors come together. There is a very small dimple on the top of the front driver's side quarter panel on the tire side of the hood. It is hard to see but it is there. There is a very small ding in the chrome rail to the right of the top of the trunk on the passenger side. There is one small scratch on the passenger side fender in front of the door. These are very small and easily fixable issues. This car is generally immaculate. It is UNRESTORED. But we wanted to point out everything. You will be hard pressed to find another as nice and as original as this one! The caretaker of this vehicle (the owner has passed away) reports that the leaf springs were replaced years ago as the old ones were tired and gave the car a sub par ride. She starts right up and runs no problem. Please see the video. Cut and paste the youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9BwYJT3Tjw&t=5s You may pick this up on one of our pickup days or you can arrange with the estate to pick it up over the next few weeks. The vehicles will be available for an in-person preview on July 24 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Call or text Adrian with Burns Auction at 614-271-3014 to be added to the preview list, and we will provide you with the address of this estate one day prior to the preview day.
