Remarkably Detailed Cherub Covered Porcelain Jar
Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain jar. The jar’s body sits on top of a flared stem, and an ornate base. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed bronze cherub handles. The teal color of the jar is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting a classical Rococo scene, this vase shows flowers and cherubs, executed in shades of blue, green, pink and gold. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain with bronze details. The jar has never been used and measures 26 inches in height by 23 inches in width and 19 inches in depth.
